BioI'm a computer geek, a systems and network administrtor. Happily married for 20+ years to another science fiction fan, we're busy raising our 15-year-old second generation fan. I'm an avid reader, mostly science fiction and mysteries, as well as an avid gamer. I also do volunteer work for the Radio Reading Network of Maryland, where I read the Baltimore Sun to the blind and physically handicapped via sub-carrier radio on weekends. I'm also a Red Cross Blood Services volunteer. To make an appointment, or to find out more about blood donation, call 1-(800) GIVE-LIFE. I have a wide range of musical tastes, from classical to hip-hop and jazz. I mostly favor progressive rock (Yes, ELP, ELO, Rush, etc.) I am also a big Devo fan. Why do a LiveJournal? Because after reading a few of them, I thought that I might try my hand at it.
